Thetford Vineyard Church Trustees

As Trustees, we are required to meet at least 3 times a year to discuss the governance of the Church and our legal responsibilities as a charity. These meetings always include a discussion around the financial affairs of Thetford Vineyard Church. We analyse income & expenditure, projected future costs & opportunities and our required reserves. It is also the responsibility of the trustees to ensure that appropriate policies e.g. safeguarding, health & safety are in place and up-to-date.

Accounts and the Charity Commission

As a registered Charity, each year, Thetford Vineyard Church is required to submit its accounts to the Charity Commission. You can find the accounts for the previous financial years, details of our constitution and trusteeship online at https://register-of-charities.charitycommission.gov.uk/charity-search- charity number 1188794. Where income has exceeded £25,0000 in a financial year, our accounts have been audited and independently verified by an accountant.

Safeguarding

As part of Vineyard Churches UK and Ireland (VCUKI), Thetford Vineyard Church takes the safeguarding of children, young people, and adults very seriously.

We believe that we are God’s children, empowered by his Spirit, to extend his Kingdom together, everywhere and in every way. That we are called to serve people, especially the poor and vulnerable, and communicate the goodness of Jesus with compassion and generosity.

As a Church, we have a duty to promote the welfare of children, young people, and adults. The welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults at risk is always paramount and should take precedence over all other considerations.
